Talking about health and wellbeing is easy. Acting consistently with that discourse… not so much. Across Latin America, many consumers claim they appreciate healthy habits, yet only around half manage to put them into practice, and to varying degrees. The result is a gap between intent and behaviour — a reality that uncovers personal challenges while also revealing business opportunities.
For brands, understanding this landscape is essential. Based on thousands of interviews conducted across nine markets in the region — Central America (Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua and Panama), Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico and Peru — our new survey offers a comprehensive overview of health and wellbeing across the continent.
More than simply presenting figures, however, this report reflects how consumers’ pursuit of a more intentional and mindful life — despite the challenges along the way — has already significantly shaped their behaviours and, ultimately, their choices. This is a journey – oftentimes not so clear – that creates new habits, continuously and gradually.
Our aim is to uncover the insights behind these paths — helping brands and shoppers find common ground that inspires responsibility and guides more conscious decisions.
The invitation is open: to understand Latin American consumers and their distinctive perspectives on health, thus revealing both the growth potential for brands and examples of those who are already standing out in this space. Want to join us?
